If you aren’t able to attend one of our planned events for future students, you can schedule a time to visit. During your visit, you and your family will have the opportunity to meet with department representatives from your program of interest.
We offer visits for students interested in majors in the John and Willie Leone Family Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering solely on Monday and Friday afternoons, 1:15–3:00 p.m. If you are planning to schedule an Admissions information session and tour, please select the morning session. Please visit Penn State's Undergraduate Admission Office to register for an information session and tour.
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to meet with department representatives from your program of interest. Once your form (below) has been submitted, an EMS Staff member will develop an itinerary for your visit and send it to you via the email listed on the form.
We offer visits for students interested in geography, geosciences, materials science and engineering, and meteorology Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., provided we have a minimum of 1 week notice to prepare for your visit. If you are planning to schedule an Admissions information session and tour please begin by registering for an available time through Penn State's Undergraduate Admission Office.
Please note we require a minimum of one week notice to allow sufficient time for scheduling and responding to visit requests.
